Breathe Education

Breathe Education Withdrawing from PAA 1 July 2018

Effective 1 July 2018 Breathe Education has withdrawn affiliation with the PAA as an Education Body, based on compliance with PAA recognition requirements. Students enrolled with Breathe beyond this date, in both Cert IV and Diploma course, will no longer be directly recognised by the PAA.

The PAA is happy to assist Breathe students or graduates along a pathway to reach compliance of membership. Membership of your industry body will provide professional and business support, as well as access to comprehensive continuing education.

PAA Membership Eligibility

Graduates prior to 30 June 2018 need only provide their Cert IV or Diploma certificate as evidence of qualifications to become a PAA member.

Enrolled students who have not completed their studies at 30 June will require a letter from their placement supervisor stating the hours completed in addition to their Cert IV or Diploma certificate. The letter should be on business letterhead and outline the placement hours completed and list the supervisor/s and contact details. As most of these students will still be completing their placement hours this should be easily arranged directly with their supervisor.

Students enrolling or commencing study after 1 July 2018 will not be eligible for direct PAA membership and will need to seek RPL from a PAA recognised Education Body towards a recognised Diploma and complete any additional units of study and additional work experience/ placement hours in order to meet PAA membership requirements.
